Analisis Manajemen Pengelolaan Perpustakaan SMP Babussalam

Abstract

The research aims to: 1) To determine the role of the library as a learning resource center for students, 2) To determine the management of the management and development of the SMPI Babussalam Lombok Timur library. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis methods, in collecting data the researcher uses observation, interview and documentation methods. The validity of the researcher's data uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis is carried out in three stages, namely: from the results of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are: 1) The role of the library as a learning resource center, in addition to being a learning resource center, the library is also a center of information and innovation, because students are able to utilize the existence of the library in searching for information and can innovate through the existence of the library. Another role of the library is also as a forum in educating the nation's generation. The school library has a very important role for students to improve their knowledge and skills. With the establishment of the library, it can be a cheap, cheerful, and fast destination to realize the long life education of students. 2) The management of the school library management of SMPI Babussalam Lombok Timur continues to innovate and develop. They began managing the school by improving the condition of the rooms, gradually adding books, and then establishing collaborations and expanding partnerships. The Islamic Junior High School (MTS) Islahul Ummah library also continues to develop, starting with establishing a reading library for students.
